Nina O’Brien has been an adjunct lecturer at the Department of Media Culture since 2003 and has taught courses in Communication and Media Theory, Popular Culture, Propaganda, Cinema and Representational practices. With a background in independent film production, Nina’s own research focuses on ‘Third’ cinema cultures and the impact of new entertainment and information technologies in the Caribbean and Latin America. Currently Nina serves as a substitute instructor in the department.
