Randi Cecchine
Randi Cecchine is a media artist and educator teaching video production and media studies at CSI. Her creative work celebrates individual voice and expression, focusing on the connections between personal experience and cultural development. Her video Scrambled; a Journey Through Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome is a humorous and personal health education video. Her teaching style is highly participatory and aims to empower her students with self awareness, listening skills, academic discipline and creative confidence.
Brian Cogan
M.A. and Ph.D. New York University, Media Ecology Department.
Brian Cogan has been an adjunct at the College of Staten Island since 1998. He is the author of The Encyclopedia of Punk Music and Culture (Greenwood Press 2006),and is currently co-editing Oh, My God, They Deconstructed South Park! Those Bastards! (Lexington Press 2008) and Mosh the Polls: Youth Voters and Popular Culture (Lexington Press 2008). His work has appeared in journals such as Journal of Radical Studies, Journal of Popular Culture and Popular Music and Society.
Steve Lambert
Steve Lambert received a BFA at the San Francisco Art Institute and MFA at UC Davis in 2006. He founded the Anti-Advertising Agency in 2004. His projects and art works have won awards from the Creative Work Fund, Adbusters Media Foundation, the California Arts Council. Writings about his work have appeared in multiple publications such as Punk Planet, Artweek, and Newsweek Magazine. Steve is currently a fellow at Eyebeam's Open R&D Lab in New York.
