Language Requirement:

The B.A. requires demonstrated proficieny in a foreign language. This requirement may be satisfied by successful completion of one of the following:

A course offered by the Modern Languages Department at the 213 level.

OR

Proficiency through the 213 level in any language other than English demonstrated by examination.

(Credits earned in fulfilling the foreign language requirement for the B.A. will also fulfill the distribution requirements of group C3; for those who fulfill the requirement through examination, any one course at the 215 level or above in the same language will fulfill the group C3 requirement.)
