an understanding of the purchase and sale of residential property including
condominiums and cooperatives. The role of the real estate broker, attorney,
Title Company, lenders and home inspector will be discussed. The goal
would be to assist a person not familiar with the real estate process

COMMERCIAL
LEASES
Paul Bierman
Probably the second greatest expense in a small business is the rent
for the premises it occupies. The class will cover the major issues
in a lease including the rent, length of lease, assignment and subletting,
use and termination of lease. While the class would not be a substitute
for an attorney, it will help a prospective tenant prepare for the lease
transaction. Current and prospective purchasers of commercial real estate
may also be interested in this course.
