COMMERCIAL LEASES
Paul Bierman
Probably the second greatest expense in a small business is the rent for the premises it occupies. The class will cover the major issues in a lease including the rent, length of lease, assignment and subletting, use and termination of lease. While the class would not be a substitute for an attorney, it will help a prospective tenant prepare for the lease transaction. Current and prospective purchasers of commercial real estate may also be interested in this course.
