A UNIFIED THEORY OF A LAW
John Bosco, Esq.
Although we bear the burden of our laws, we often cannot understand their meaning. Lawyers have a monopoly on legal understanding. This is not very democratic. We ought to be able, on our own, to understand the laws that govern us. To democratize legal understanding, John Bosco has mapped everything that goes on during the process of making a law onto a 3 by 3 grid that he calls The Periodic Table of the Elements of a Law. All knowledge about a law exists within the nine cells of this 3 by 3 grid. There is nothing more to know. Even the legal genius cannot understand a law any better than an ordinary citizen who understands Bosco’s Periodic Table of the Elements of a Law. Bosco’s course is an excellent introduction to law for paralegals and prelaw students. The details of Bosco’s course can be found on the connexions Website of Rice University.
