COMPUTER TERMINOLOGY

Is your computer overloaded with 'cookies?' Is your folder full of 'cache?' If the words 'download' and 'hard drive' are confusing, then maybe learning a list of definitions concerning computers and the Internet will be beneficial. In this four-session course, the concentration will focus on common terms that are used by computer users everywhere, such as computer hardware, software and storage. You will also look at different computer devices, such as iPods, cell phones and computers, INSIDE and OUT, to better understand how these complex machines work.

Prepare for CCNA certification and promising career opportunities in the Internet economy of the 21st century. Most networks connect to the Internet with CISCO hardware. This intensive, hands-on, year-long program will teach the student to design, build, and troubleshoot small-to-medium-sized networks. The CISCO-Certified Network Associate curriculum will prepare you for the CCNA certification exam. The certificate has four 70-hour training sessions.

COMPUTER-AIDED DESIGN (AUTOCAD)*

The industry standard allows the user to produce technical drawings on the computer. This is an excellent course for architects, engineers, drafters, graphic designers, and interior designers. This basic course teaches how to draw, edit, store, retrieve, and plot technical drawings.
