The Center for Developmental Neuroscience and Developmental Disabilities at the College of Staten Island of The City University of New York offers a Master’s of Science degree in Neuroscience, Mental Retardation, and Developmental Disabilities (NSMRDD).  This broadly interdisciplinary program, integrating relevant subject matter in the areas of biology, chemistry, mathematics, philosophy, psychology, and sociology, is a joint venture with the New York State Institute for Basic Research on Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities.  Students have a unique opportunity to explore both neuroscientific and applied aspects of the normally and abnormally developing brain, as well as recent advances in the cognitive sciences. Complete tuition waiver will be available for deserving students.
